The House of Chavah

Built by a practitioner,
not a slide deck.

Chavah Consulting Ltd was founded by Cecilia A. Achieng — an operator with 18+ years spent inside the machinery of retail, customer experience, workforce planning, and AI-enabled transformation across African markets.

We are not a template agency. Every engagement is led by senior hands who have run the floor, closed the quarter, and rebuilt the operating model — then wrote the frameworks the rest of the industry now borrows.

What we do

Four disciplines.
One coherent operating model.

Each pillar can be engaged alone. Together, they compound — governance sharpens experience, experience shapes workforce, workforce animates brand.

01Pillar

Process Governance

Codify how work truly flows. We install operating disciplines, controls and decision rights that let ambitious teams scale without chaos.

02Pillar

CX Strategy & Transformation

Design customer journeys that feel inevitable. From voice-of-customer architecture to service blueprints and experience economics.

03Pillar

Workforce Planning & Operations

Right-size the frontline and reshape the back office. Data-driven workforce models built for the realities of African retail and services.

04Pillar

Brand Identity & Design

Give the transformation a face. Naming, visual identity and brand systems that carry executive weight and cultural depth.

Proprietary Methodologies

Frameworks we built
to move African enterprises.

Framework 01

Experium

CX transformation, delivered as an operating discipline.

Experium fuses process governance with customer-centric design and deploys it through agile, iterative engagements. It is how we take a customer promise and make it a repeatable operational reality.

  • Governance-first CX architecture
  • Iterative agile rollout, no year-long PDFs
  • Measured on customer + operating outcomes
Framework 02

OPERA Framework

A five-pillar operating system for retail excellence.

PPeople & Culture
EExperience & Environment
RRevenue & Commercial Engine
AAgility & Innovation
Voices in the Field

Where our frameworks meet
the global CX conversation.

Customers no longer measure experiences against direct competitors; they benchmark every interaction against the best experience they've ever had.

The Metric Most Telecom Retailers Are Missing — And Why It's Costing Them Customers

Stores hit their targets and something is still visibly wrong — long queues, stretched advisors, customers leaving unserved. Most retailers measure outputs and call them outcomes. The real gap has a name.

Why the Physical Store Is Not Dying — It Is Becoming the Most Important Channel You Have

As digital scales, the store isn't emptying — it's concentrating complexity. What that means for staffing, CX design, and emerging-market retail.

Digital First Does Not Mean Digital Only

Digital absorbs volume. Physical absorbs complexity. The defunding trap most digital transformations fall into — and why your remaining advisors need to be your best, not your cheapest.

The OPERA Framework™ Series · Part One of Five

O Is for Organisational Design

Most retail organisations aren't underperforming because their people are wrong — they're underperforming because their structure is. The Centre of Excellence isn't a department or a committee; it's the nerve centre of retail capability.

Pillar P of the OPERA Framework™ — People & Culture

Culture Is Not a Poster. It's an Architecture.

The Ritz-Carlton gives every employee up to $2,000 to resolve a guest issue, no approval needed. The money is almost never spent — the message is the point. That's not a policy. That's a culture system.
